Day 37 in Penang: My scooter!

It is more convenient to ride a bike in Georgetown, You can go anywhere, park anywhere and traffic jam wouldn't be able to stop you! I am riding my scooter everyday. Deliver frames, go play badminton, go jogging, go to customer place, go buy newspaper, go dinner, go to bank, go to post office, go seeing friends, go....................................... aiya....anywhere lah!

Day 38 in Penang: Installing frames

Installing frame/art is part of my work as framer. It is good to have chance to go to different type of premises to install frames. We go people's house, bungalow, condo, apartment, office, shop, restaurant,................... to be frank...what a wonderful experience! Seeing different type of interior, meeting different kind of house owner......... But sometime it is tired and also frustrated when you face with wired and fussy customer.

Day 42 in Kulim: Ancestor worship 拜祖

Today we went back to Kulim to pray (instead of prayers, joss sticks, fruits,...are offered with greeting to the grand parents!) for our `grand parent' in this Hungry ghost festival. (Of cause we don't believe our ancestor is hungry ghost lah! ) This year is the last year we pray at home as our old house is going to be demolished next month. ( because the land is taken back by the land owner for future development). From next year on, everyone in our family has to go to the newly build columbarium to pay filial respect to grand parents.

Day 43 in Penang: Watching badminton match (TV)

Badminton is the most popular game in Malaysia. Almost every Malaysian know the game. Regardless you are old or young, Chinese, Malay or Indian.... when talking about badminton...they become `Bersatu'!!

To night is the semi final day of the BWF World Badminton Championship 2011 held in London. It is live telecast in Astro. Just saw the game between of our country World No.1 Lee Chong Wei vs Chen Jin of China.
